‘I can tackle any new obstacles’

I went to Katie as I was struggling with anxiety so a friend suggested that I should try hypnotherapy to see if that could help. I had no previous experience of hypnotherapy or counselling and was very curious about it all. Straight away Katie made me feel comfortable and relaxed and able to express myself and my feelings. At first Katie did a consultation session which she explains in detail how different parts of the brain work which gave me a deeper understanding of the hypnotherapy process. After 4 sessions I already noticed some results as I felt calmer happier and in general a lot less anxious. We discussed strategies to cope with the anxiety and she explained in depth how to empty my ‘stress bucket’ by thinking positively. Katie recognised that the main anxieties were coming from public speaking so she decided a different strategy with me which focused on this, which helped me complete a presentation at work. During this presentation it was the most confident I had ever spoken and felt. I am thoroughly pleased I went to see Katie and although I only had a few sessions she has made me feel like I can tackle any new obstacles in life. If anyone is thinking about having hypnotherapy with Katie I would definitely recommend her sessions as she is fantastic at what she does!
