‘More positive than I can remember’

I have suffered on and off for years with depression and anxiety. I have tried counselling before but nothing has really helped. I was unsure about hypnotherapy at first but I thought there was no harm in giving it a try. I’m so glad I did. After seeing Katie for a few weeks I am feeling so much better and more positive than I can remember.
Katie is really friendly and welcoming, She put me at ease straight away and I always leave feeling calm and relaxed.

‘Things are finally going smoothly’

I have suffered with depression and anxiety all my life and the last few years I have been diagnosed with emotional personality disorder along with PTSD from my ex partner. Life hasn’t been easy for me at all. I heard about Katie through my Mum so I thought I would give it a go!

From the first moment I met Katie I was overwhelmed with how welcoming and lovely she is. My sessions went really well and I have made some big decisions in my life that I was too scared to do before hypnotherapy. Things are finally going smoothly.

I have also quit smoking completely! This is all down to Katie, so thank you very much I’m over the moon with how it’s gone!

‘Big Improvement’

I am someone who is anxious, worrier, an over thinker, very irrational with my thoughts and sees the negative in pretty much everything.

One of my concerns was my lack of sleep. I used to wake up at night and not be able to go back to sleep. I can honestly say I noticed a big improvement after the 1st time I listened to the mp3 which Katie had given me. I listen to the recording most nights and now hardly wake at all!

With Katie’s help, I now feel I am able to cope with situations when they arrive easier than before and remain calmer. I’m also starting to think in a more positive way rather than negative.

‘Nurture Time’

I have suffered from anxiety and low confidence for a number of years. This in turn affects my sleep, so I decided to seek help from Katie.

Through Katie’s support I am setting myself achievable targets and giving myself nurture time when I feel tired or anxious. I am learning some relaxation techniques through talking meditation, which is improving my sleep.

As a man, we often find it harder to talk about our emotions and insecurities, Katie has helped to break down this stigma and I am so glad I have accessed her support. I would highly recommend her.

‘Positive Outlook’

I had recently finished working at my job due to stress and was struggling with depression and anxiety. Going to Katie I was able to talk in a safe and comfortable environment about my issues and going through steps to feel better. I felt each session I had a more positive outlook than negative. I highly recommend going to hypnotherapy with Katie,  she listens to your needs and has a calming positive effect. Each day I feel much more positive and happier fulfilling my goals and outlook.

‘Beginning to smile again’

The Autumn of 2018 turned my life upside down, my 3rd grandson was born prematurely and was critically ill and during the same weekend my beloved partner passed away. This was followed by my son being the victim of an unprovoked attack and sustaining severe brain trauma and the passing of my grandmother, all within six months of each other. This amount of trauma had such an enormous effect on me: I felt lost; and out of control; I couldn’t sleep; although when I did I had the most horrific dreams.

I had met Katie through work and when I knew she was looking for people to work with I felt I had nothing to lose, I needed help and although medication from my doctor had helped a little bit, the feeling of panic and loss were overwhelming.

Katie is very friendly and welcoming and working with her has been amazing. During my first session she explained about how your brain deals with trauma by using responses to previous trauma and this made so much sense. At first I found it difficult to list anything positive that had happened but as the weeks went by I began to really appreciate all the positive things I have in my life. Katie was always calm and encouraging and her therapy room is very comfortable and relaxing, and her snugly blankets offer just the right amount of comfort!

I think it took about 9 weeks for me to start to feel more like myself, I began to sleep soundly through the night and remain calm and unanxious. I would recommend hypnotherapy to anyone considering it. It has been amazing I feel so much lighter and brighter and am beginning to smile again.

‘I can tackle any new obstacles’

I went to Katie as I was struggling with anxiety so a friend suggested that I should try hypnotherapy to see if that could help. I had no previous experience of hypnotherapy or counselling and was very curious about it all.

Straight away Katie made me feel comfortable and relaxed and able to express myself and my feelings. At first Katie did a consultation session which she explains in detail how different parts of the brain work which gave me a deeper understanding of the hypnotherapy process.

After 4 sessions I already noticed some results as I felt calmer happier and in general a lot less anxious. We discussed strategies to cope with the anxiety and she explained in depth how to empty my ‘stress bucket’ by thinking positively.

Katie recognised that the main anxieties were coming from public speaking so she decided a different strategy with me which focused on this, which helped me complete a presentation at work. During this presentation it was the most confident I had ever spoken and felt. I am thoroughly pleased I went to see Katie and although I only had a few sessions she has made me feel like I can tackle any new obstacles in life.

If anyone is thinking about having hypnotherapy with Katie I would definitely recommend her sessions as she is fantastic at what she does!

‘Changed my thought process’

I was introduced to Katie when I was feeling a bit disillusioned with life and quite negative. She made me feel immediately comfortable and relaxed.

After a few sessions I started to feel a lot more positive about things and found it easier to deal with everyday worries and anxieties.

I would definitely recommend hypnotherapy to everyone as it has certainly changed my thought processes and made me a happier and more positive person!

‘Helped me through the most traumatic time in my life’

Before I began seeing Katie my life was in turmoil, having being diagnosed with cancer I was finding it virtually impossible to stay calm and stop my mind working over time.

I began meeting Katie weekly for hypnosis, in a calm and relaxing environment. Katie is understanding and friendly, making me feel able to open up and share my thoughts and feelings.

Since I began regular hypnotherapy sessions I have been able to use the techniques to stay calm. If life becomes overwhelming I can refer back to the hypnosis audio to relax me and put my mind back in order. It has made a huge difference to my life. Before I began hypnotherapy, I must admit I was sceptical, but at such a low point in my life I was open and willing to try something different, and I am so glad I did.
